In every project, a heartbeat of hope brings life

Clothing Distribution in Gaza

Amid a holiday atmosphere filled with both pain and hope, Aksa Association launched the Eid al-Adha Clothing Project for Children in Gaza—an inspiring humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing joy to the hearts of children deprived of festive celebrations due to war and displacement. Among the rubble of homes and temporary shelters, thousands of children still long for a tender gesture that restores a sense of happiness and belonging, offering a glimpse of a childhood stolen by conflict.

The project focuses on distributing new Eid clothes to children of all ages, particularly in the most affected areas in northern Gaza, where poverty and displacement continue to rise. The clothing packages include complete outfits—from shoes to hats—carefully selected for comfort, quality, and holiday relevance, and presented in a dignified and thoughtful manner that makes each child feel remembered and valued.

The initiative is carried out by trained field teams working in cooperation with local authorities to accurately identify the families most in need, ensuring that aid reaches the most vulnerable. Clothes are distributed in advance of the holiday to give children the opportunity to celebrate in their new outfits and feel part of the collective joy.

This project goes beyond providing garments; it delivers a heartfelt message of solidarity and love from donors in Türkiye and around the world—those who believe that no celebration is complete unless shared with those who are missing it. Thanks to their continued generosity, Aksa Association continues to build bridges of compassion and plant seeds of hope in the hearts of Gaza’s children, despite the hardship.

Eid clothing in Gaza is not just a project—it’s a promise that childhood will not be forgotten, and that joy is still possible, even in the darkest of times.
