In every project, a heartbeat of hope brings life

Water Supply in Gaza

In the Gaza Strip, access to clean drinking water is no longer a given. The prolonged blockade, deteriorating infrastructure, and repeated destruction of water networks have led to a severe water crisis, deepening the suffering of residents—especially in remote areas and displacement shelters. With rising salinity and contamination levels, clean water has become a distant dream for many families.

In response to this crisis, Aksa Association launched the Water Relief Project in Gaza to provide safe, drinkable water to affected and displaced families. This is achieved through the distribution of water tanks, the provision of clean water trucks, and the establishment of filling points in areas with high need.

The project focuses on both urgent and sustainable interventions. Aksa’s teams coordinate with local authorities to ensure daily water delivery to underserved areas, following carefully planned strategies based on population density and level of need. The initiative also includes the installation of filtration and purification systems at select locations to ensure the quality of water being provided.

The Water Relief Project is not merely a service—it’s a lifeline. It alleviates the burden of thirst and disease for thousands of families struggling to survive. It’s a basic human right renewed daily by the generosity of donors who quench Gaza’s pain with compassion.

With every drop of water delivered, human dignity is upheld, and life is restored in a land parched by hardship. Through this project, Aksa Association continues its mission to nourish hope and confront crisis with tangible acts of mercy and solidarity.
