Daily Iftar and Suhoor in Gaza

As the holy month of Ramadan arrives in Gaza, it brings both deep faith and immense challenges. Amid blockade, displacement, and economic hardship, thousands of families are unable to secure daily iftar and suhoor meals—deepening their suffering in a month meant to offer peace and spiritual comfort.

In response to this growing need, Aksa Association launched the Iftar and Suhoor Meals Project to provide daily food support for fasting families affected by conflict and displacement across Gaza. This project serves as a key pillar in reinforcing family resilience during Ramadan, offering fresh, balanced, and culturally appropriate meals that meet both health and nutritional needs.

Meals are prepared daily in field kitchens or in collaboration with trusted local restaurants, and distributed before iftar and suhoor times to shelters and the most affected areas. Aksa’s field teams work diligently to identify the most vulnerable families, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene while preserving the dignity of every recipient.

This initiative goes beyond providing food—it is a true expression of the solidarity and compassion that define Ramadan. It represents a bridge of mercy extending from generous donors in Türkiye and around the world to the hearts of those fasting in Gaza, reminding them that kindness knows no boundaries.

Thanks to your continued support, Ramadan tables become moments of comfort and warmth, giving the vulnerable a chance to experience a dignified fast and nourishing suhoor—rekindling their hope despite the hardships they face.
